KW Scanner is a private market research tool. One person uses it. It is not a public service.
KW Scanner reads historical keyword search volume from the Google Ads Keyword Planner. It reads the volume for a list of search terms about student information system software. It reads the volume for a list of US towns. It writes the result to a spreadsheet on the owner's computer.
KW Scanner signs in with Google and uses the Google Ads API scope. It uses this scope only to call the Keyword Planner historical metrics service on the owner's own Google Ads account.
KW Scanner does not run ads. It does not change any Google Ads account. It does not read any other Google data.
